Kendall Johnson paints in Claremont, California. He is a National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certified Art teacher, has taught hard to reach adolescents for twenty years, and is currently teaching at Danbury School for orthopedically handicapped and seriously health impaired children. He works collaboratively with the Mentor Project at the 1st Street Gallery in Claremont, a studio/gallery for developmentally disabled adults.
Ken’s work has consistently won awards and is shown regionally and in Australia. He recently organized the exhibit “FOR THE GENERATIONS: A HALF CENTURY OF CLAREMONT ART IN SUPPORT OF JOHNSON’S PASTURE”. Ken is a member of the Society of Layerists in Multi-Media.
